The Process
Everything you need to know about adopting one of our schnoodles
The following is the process for adopting one of our schnoodles. Please note that I am a smaller breeder and only have 4-6 litters each year. Deposits for my litters are often placed way in advance. Please read over everything carefully before contacting me with questions. Click here to see puppy prices. Thank you!
The first step is to fill out an application. You may fill this out online or print a copy and email or mail it to me.
Telephone interview. When I receive your application, I may contact you via telephone or Email or text. I am very particular about who adopts my schnoodles.
Wait List. If we are a good fit, then I will add you to my wait list. The wait list is a holding place that I draw from when there are openings to place a deposit for a puppy from an upcoming litter.
Place a deposit. If there is space for a deposit, I will contact you to place a $300 deposit for a puppy from a specific litter.
Pick puppy from litter.
Breeder always has first pick of any litter. Puppy picks will be based on the order in which I receive deposits. If you have the first pick, you must pick your puppy by the age of 4 weeks so that the next person can pick their puppy, etc. By arrangement, you may come and visit the puppies and decide at that time.
Sign my contract. In order to purchase one of my puppies, we must meet in person for the pick-up and you must sign the contract. Please read the contract carefully before you fill out an application so that there are no surprises. This is a legal and binding document.
Make sure you prepare for your new puppy. Read all that you can about caring for a new puppy. Purchase necessary items. Learn about puppy training. Be intentional. A calm, obedient puppy is taught to be so. It requires a lot of work and consistency, but it will pay off over many years with your puppy.
